565 enthusiastic riders, generous event and prize sponsors, a group of volunteers that gave up parts of their weekend - and the most glorious weather imaginable.  All of it came together today to result in a successful 2nd annual event.

This year, the Guelph General Hospital Foundation is committed to updating its entire suite of IV pumps, approximately 300 of them at a cost of almost one million dollars.  Approximately $750,000 has already been raised for this project, and proceeds from 2015 Tour de Guelph will go towards that fundraising drive, as well as to the two Rotary Clubs (Guelph South and Guelph Trillium) for their support of worthwhile projects.

The IV pumps are specialized equipment, important tools that the hospital caregivers need to help them save lives and improve health.  From administering anaesthetics and keeping patients hydrated prior to surgery, to delivering antibiotics and pain medications during recovery, IV pumps are an integral part of a patient's care.

A photo album of candid photos taken at the 2015 Tour de Guelph is now posted on this website:  go to the "Photo Albums" links on the right hand side of the website.  More photos will be added as they come available.  Our thanks to all of the riders for their participation and for the valuable fundraising by way of pledges and online donations that they did!
