On August 15th 2017 the Rotary Club of Guelph and Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre jointly hosted 45 children through "Better Beginnings, Better Futures" (Guelph) to visit the farm, enjoy the swimming pool and playground, play some soccer, visit the horses and enjoy a barbecue. For many of these city children, this was their first visit to a farm!
Better Beginnings, Better Futures was introduced by the Ontario government in 1990 to discover effective ways of supporting the healthy development of young children and strengthening family and community life in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
