On March 19th we were happy to host a couple of young people who give us hope and make us proud with their commitment to service.

Rotaractor Daniella Rizzo provided us with information on the University of Guelph's "Global Vets" program and the opportunity she has to participate in a 2-1/2 month internship, providing veterinary support in a third world coutnry.

Mikayla MacDonald is a young lady that our Rotary Club sponsored for the 2012 Camp Enterprise program when she was a senior at Bishop Macdonell High School.  She was so inspired by Camp Enterprise, and other family members involved in Rotary, that she has geared her post-secondary education towards social justice.  She is also a "New World Ambassador" for The New World Community, a Canadian next-generation social business non-profit.

It is exactly the kind of results that we hope for, when we make the investments that we do in Youth Service initiatives, and we are just so proud of these young people!
