On July 12 the Rotary Club of Guelph South, in collaboration with the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre, organized a delightful BBQ event for the youth from Shelldale. The evening was filled with excitement as the young people arrived by bus and were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening was the opportunity to go swimming and also interact with the horses at the riding centre. Joy and laughter echoed throughout the evening as they enjoyed the beautiful weather and grooming the horses in the barn. The low ropes course was also a great hit with these energetic young people .
As the event wrapped up, everyone was treated to a scrumptious feast, including hotdogs, hamburgers, mouthwatering cupcakes from Decadently Yours in Guelph, and ice cream cones. The delicious food added the perfect finishing touch to an evening filled with fun and good memories.
Everyone went home with a Sunrise T- shirt which they wore for a group photo with the Guelph South Rotarians who sponsored the evening at the farm, helped with the activities and looked after the barbecuing .Overall, it was a heartwarming and successful event that brought smiles to the faces of all the young attendees.
