Rotary Club of Guelph South Charitable Foundation
Our Charitable Foundation was incorporated in Ontario under the Corporations Act as a non-profit Corporation on January 20 2005 as Ontario Corporation No. 001618065, and was subsequently issued Supplementary Letters Patent in June 2008 to change the name from "Wellington South" to "Guelph South". The non-profit Corporation was subsequently registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a Registered Canadian Charity (Public Foundation) on November 14 2005 with Registration number 863418984-RR0001.The Directors of our non-profit Charitable Foundation as dictated by our incorporating documents are the Officers of the Rotary Club of Guelph South service club, as follows: the President, Past President and the President-Elect are Directors; the Treasurer is not a Director, but is an Officer. The Charitable Foundation's fiscal year, and their terms of office, coincide with the Rotary year, ie. July 1st through June 30th.
The Charitable Foundation exists to receive donations that are ultimately directed to eligible Canadian registered charities. The Charitable Foundation issues tax receipts for such donations under their Canadian Charitable Registration number.
